April Showers

Rabbit, Rabbit! It's a well known saying that "April showers bring May flowers." Of course, you could bear said showers with a boring, black umbrella. Or, you could celebrate spring downpours with a cheerier version.

(Old Navy, $8)

(Totes, $22)

With umbrellas like these, you might even find yourself wishing for a rainstorm!

Quick Card Making

It's been raining all day, which is great for the flora, but awful for my running plans.

While waiting for a storm to pass, I made a quick card from items currently cluttering my desk. The cardstock I have on hand is all neon colored, so I colored over everything with a white pencil to tone it down. I added a few seed beads for decorations.

<- A close up of the flower part. I attached everything with Elmer's white glue. The beads would probably fall off if I tried to mail the card, so this will be saved for the top of a package or something of the like.

Overall, it's not the best, but it was a fun diversion :)
